The athletic department strives to develop: sportsmanship, leadership, solid work habits, a competitive spirit, a winning attitude, team unity, and school loyalty. Our athletes are also expected to display ethical conduct and fair play by showing respect for fellow players, coaches, officials, opposing teams, and fans.

HIGH SCHOOL

SCA has seen great accomplishment with our varsity programs. We offer safe and effective strength training and conditioning to each athlete. Many of our athletes have graduated and received offers to compete at a collegiate level. Our volleyball and girl's basketball programs have seen many state championships in recent years including back to back volleyball state championships in 2017 and 2018, and a basketball state championship in 2019. Our boys have received national exposure with various universities coming through the "Lion's Den" to check out our athletes.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

  We offer Girl's Volleyball and Basketball and Boy's Basketball. Our middle school students compete against other private, charter, and public schools in the San Antonio area.
